Les syst\u00e8mes d'enregistrement biom\u00e9trique des \u00e9lecteurs, ou BVR en abr\u00e9g\u00e9, sont utilis\u00e9s depuis un certain temps, mais \u00e0 mesure que de plus en plus de pays s'\u00e9loignent des syst\u00e8mes de vote traditionnels au profit des syst\u00e8mes de vote biom\u00e9triques, ils visent \u00e0 \u00e9liminer la fraude et l'ill\u00e9galit\u00e9 associ\u00e9es au vote traditionnel. L'utilisation de syst\u00e8mes de vote biom\u00e9triques peut, en principe, garantir l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 du vote d\u00e9mocratique.<\/p>


Plusieurs pays comme le Nigeria, le Kenya et le Ghana ont eu recours au vote biom\u00e9trique et les r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 excellents. Ce changement a \u00e9galement donn\u00e9 au gouvernement une certaine confiance et un certain soutien pour l'utilisation de syst\u00e8mes de vote biom\u00e9triques.<\/p>\n
