The solution was configured around the customer’s actual workplace requirements, supporting daily attendance while providing additional authentication for areas with higher security requirements.
Face & Card Recognition for Daily Attendance
The customer uses two identification methods for employee attendance, providing flexibility for daily workplace management.
1. Face Recognition for Contactless Attendance
The customer uses face recognition for convenient, contactless employee attendance. Employees can simply present their faces to the terminal for identity verification and attendance recording, making daily clock-in more convenient.
2. Employee ID Card for Daily Attendance
Employees can also use their work ID cards for daily attendance and identity verification. This provides a familiar and convenient authentication method for employees while supporting the customer’s overall workplace management.
3. Dual Authentication for Sensitive Areas
For more sensitive offices or restricted areas, the customer can require both face recognition and an employee ID card for access.
Employees must pass both verification methods before entry is granted. This provides an additional layer of identity verification for areas where a higher level of access security is required.
Permission-Based Access for Restricted Offices
Different employees may have different responsibilities and access requirements within the same workplace.
HFSecurity’s solution allows administrators to configure access permissions according to employees and their authorized areas. When a person attempts to enter a restricted office, the system verifies their identity and checks the corresponding access permission.
This allows general office areas and sensitive workspaces to be managed with different access rules, helping the customer establish a more structured workplace access environment.
Centralized Attendance Management with HFIMS
The solution is supported by HFIMS, HFSecurity’s own attendance management software, which provides centralized management of employee attendance information and connected devices.
Administrators can manage employee information, view attendance records, generate reports and export attendance data through the software.
Together with the biometric terminals, HFIMS provides the management side of the solution while the devices handle employee identification and attendance at the workplace.
